San Francisco has been a bunch of “ups” and “downs” so far. Strange how the geology of the place reflects life’s happenings in it.
The Ups were coming to a new city and getting to know it and the people who live and pass through here, seeing that my university’s ‘campus’ is spread throughout town, seeing the sea, getting to know that there are many different kinds of artists in this city who you can learn from.
On the other hand The Downs were coming to a new city and realizing that the homelessness rate seemingly makes up a fourth of the population, coming to understand that my university was as disorganized as every other one out there, experiencing bad personality traits in people you recently made friends with for the first time and once again being shown your own bad traits.
San Francisco is built on such steep hills that you will be shocked seeing them for the first time - going through town is like walking on roller coaster tracks is like living is maybe what you’re looking for.
